Discipleship groups: A call to action

We are wrapping up the first four weeks of discipleship groups focused on community and the importance of church attendance. As a reminder, discipleship groups are more than just encouraging more social time with each other; we are encouraging a call to action from our members. As a result, you should be asking yourself the following questions:

  1. How is my church attendance and how can I improve it?

  2. How involved am I in the activities and priorities of the church? (E.g. Corporate worship, events and outreach, building relationships within our community and with new visitors).

  3. Am I arranging my schedule to make myself more available for God's community?

The next four weeks will be focused on giving. Just like the first four weeks, there is a call to action during and at the conclusion of these sessions. Pray for a change in behaviors and habits. Trust that the Lord will guide you and surround you with those who can aid you in this change, starting with your discipleship group. Be an encouragement to one another.

I will be following up with groups to see how things are going. Blessings
