ORDER OF SERVICE
9:45 am – Setup complete in nursery in preparation for children. At least two helpers on hand who are trained on using the classroom TV.
10:00 am – Children will be dropped off at this time to the nursery. Play time.
Attendance is collected (child name/guardian(s) name and phone #).
Guardians are responsible for supplying diapers and an emergency change of clothes.
Nursery helpers will not administer medicine to the children. That is the responsibility of the guardian.
The service can be followed using the classroom TV via connecting a smartphone to the Wi-Fi and the classroom ChromeCast.
10:30 am – Toys are put away.
10:35 am – A song is played on the TV (can be the same song that is used for the older kids).
Helpers will be trained to connect to the classroom TV via their personal phones to stream the song.
The children are encouraged to participate in their own way with assistance from the helpers.
10:40 – 10:50 am – Snack and story time. A 1-2 min story will be provided to the helpers (more to come on this).
Preference is one of gluten-free snacks such as a graham cracker sheet, animal crackers, or puffs.
Guardians can also provide non-messy snacks and drinks in non-spillable containers.
10:50 am – Play time
End of service – Toys are put away. Guardians retrieve their children from the doorway.
If a child isn’t picked up at least 5 min after the end of service, a helper will bring each remaining child to their parent.
Refine the outline with your RC Kidz teachers. Make sure the outline is shared with the parents/guardians as well.
